According to Sacnilk, the film recorded a solid increase in collections on its second Saturday. Day 9 earnings stood at Rs 1.68 crore net, marking a 75 per cent growth from Day 8. The previous day had collected Rs 96 lakhs, and the current growth indicates renewed audience interest heading into the weekend.
Collection breakdown: India and overseas totals of ‘LIK’
‘Love Insurance Kompany’ has accumulated Rs 35.86 crore in India net collections so far. India’s gross stands at Rs 41.42 crore after nine days of theatrical run. Overseas markets have contributed Rs 10.80 crore to the film’s overall performance. This brings the total worldwide gross collection to Rs 52.22 crore.Further, the film collected Rs 33.22 crore during its first week at the box office. However, collections slowed down during the second week’s initial days.Day 8, which was the second Friday, recorded Rs 96 lakhs across 1,741 shows. The film has shown moderate occupancy levels across Tamil and Telugu markets. For the Telugu version, overall occupancy on Day 9 stood at 24.20 per cent. Morning shows recorded 13.60 per cent, while afternoon shows peaked at 25.40 per cent.Further, the Tamil version reported an overall occupancy of 20.88 per cent on the same day.
