arhwa: Panic gripped Kanchanpur village on Wednesday after the police fished out the skeleton of a man from a well. The remains, believed to be of Ritesh, was sent to Garhwa Sadar hospital for post-mortem examination. Ritesh Kumar Ravi, 23, was allegedly killed four months ago for having an affair with a married woman in Khura village within Ranka police station limits in the district.The police arrested Priyanka Devi (30), her husband Dhananjay Oraon (36), Nepali Oraon (25) and Chhotu Oraon (20) in the case.Ritesh was a resident of Kanchanpur village under Ranka police station limits. His parents claimed Ritesh had gone to Coimbatore to work under a contractor on December 12 last year. On January 4 this year, Ritesh informed his parents that he was returning home. His parents grew suspicious when he did not reach home. Then, they contacted Ashok Choudhary, the contractor, but did not get a satisfactory response. His parents then filed a missing case with the Ranka police station on March 2. On April 19, the police got a tip-off about Ritesh. Subsequent probe revealed that he had visited Dhananjay’s house in Khura village around 10 pm on January 7 to meet his wife Priyanka, with whom she was having an affair. There, Ritesh was strangled to death by Dhananjay and his family members, and his body was dumped in the well. .“The matter is related to revenge related to a love affair. Four key accused in the case have been arrested, and further legal action is underway,” Ranka SDPO Rohit Ranjan Singh said on Wednesday.Probe revealed that Ritesh was killed when he visited Dhananjay’s house to meet his wife, with whom he was having an affair, on the night of January 7
