MSBSHSE HSC result 2026 date: : Amid concerns over employee protests and speculation around a possible delay, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education officials have indicated that the MSBSHSE HSC result is expected within this week. The clarification follows anxiety among students after reports suggested the ongoing disagreement between board employees and authorities could affect the declaration schedule.Responding to a letter sent by a student, Shlok Singh, to TOI Education seeking clarity on the impact of the protests, a senior board official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said there would be no disruption to the result process. “There will be no delay in result declaration. The board is preparing to announce the result within this week,” the official said, adding that work related to compilation and publication was progressing as scheduled.Protest concerns trigger questions over result timelineQuestions over a possible postponement surfaced after reports of protests by board employees gained attention, with some local Marathi television channels suggesting the agitation could push back the HSC result. However, the board official said the protest had not affected preparations linked to the result declaration.The development has drawn attention as students await the Class 12 results after the HSC examinations were conducted from February 10 to March 11, 2026, while practical, viva and internal assessments were held from January 23 to February 9, 2026.Last year, the Maharashtra board declared the HSC result on May 5, 2025, recording an overall pass percentage of 91.88 per cent. Girls posted a 94.58 per cent pass rate, while boys recorded 89.51 per cent. In 2024, the HSC pass percentage stood at 93.37 per cent, with results announced on May 21, 2024.Result upload and DigiLocker access underwayOfficials have also indicated that result data is in the final stages of uploading and verification. On DigiLocker, the Class 12 board exam notification currently shows “Coming soon”, adding to indications that the release may be near.The board has said results will be made available on mahahsscboard.in and DigiLocker. Students will be able to access digital marksheets by logging in through an Aadhaar-linked mobile number, selecting the Maharashtra board, and entering their exam seat number along with their mother’s name as recorded on the hall ticket.How students can check resultsCandidates can access results through the official MSBSHSE portal using their seat number and other credentials. Digital scorecards will also be available under the “Issued Documents” or “Education” section on DigiLocker after declaration.
