Lyles turns around after Bromfield taps him and says, “Oh wow, okay. I didn’t think you would go with a princess dress. I didn’t. Yeah, this is good. Dang, that’s a train and we’re supposed to spin in this?”That short reaction led to heavy criticism online. Many users felt he did not compliment her enough. Comments like, “He didn’t even compliment her ONCE,” and “This wouldn’t even be an acceptable reaction from a friend,” started trending.Bromfield, however, told a very different story on her own TikTok. She made it clear that the moment people judged was actually very personal. “So if it takes somebody saying you’re not beautiful to call off an engagement or a marriage, it wasn’t worth anything,” she said. “Because truth be told, that is something that I get told every day by Noah.”She also revealed she was dealing with a lot emotionally that day. Several close family members, including her sisters and best friend, could not attend because of visa issues.
