NEW DELHI: Congress’ Rahul Gandhi on Sunday alleged it is not democracy but “TMC’s reign of terror” that prevails in West Bengal today. “Intimidating, attacking, and eliminating opposing voices after votes are cast – this has become TMC’s defining character,” he said, ahead of the second phase of assembly polls in the state. Condemning the killing of party worker Debdeep Chatterjee, allegedly by TMC activists, Rahul on Rahul added that the “murder” by “TMC-affiliated goons” is utterly reprehensible. In a separate post on X, Rahul said that the “magician” has run out of tricks and young India can now see through him, as he attacked PM Narendra Modi over the women’s reservation issue. He met a group of young women from Delhi University and said the more the women of India are empowered, the better it is for the country.
