Sarvam Maya to Prakambanam: Check out the Malayalam TV premieres this Vishu 2026
This Vishu, get ready for a cinematic feast! Kick off the festivities with the highly-anticipated world TV premieres of the romantic comedy ‘Sarvam Maya’ and the thrilling horror-comedy ‘Prakambanam.’ Plus, don’t miss Surya’s successful film ‘Retro’ making its debut on Malayalam television.

Vishu is here, and it’s celebration time all over. Just like in the theatres, the premieres of some blockbuster movies are set to entertain the viewers this festive season.Kicking off the list of world TV premieres ahead of the festival is the blockbuster of 2025, ‘Sarvam Maya.’ The Nivin Pauly-Riya Shibu starrer rom-com movie directed by Akhil Sathyan deals with the story of a young man whose life takes a unique turn after the entry of a mysterious spirit. The movie, which became one of last year’s biggest commercial successes, has crossed 150 crore at the box office. Sarvam Maya will have its premiere on Sunday, April 12, at 7 PM.The next much-awaited world TV premiere of this Vishu season is this year’s blockbuster Prakambanam. The horror-comedy-thriller starring Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and AL Ameen is directed by Vijesh Panathur. The story deals with the lives of three friends whose lives take a chaotic turn after one of them gets possessed by a spirit. Undoubtedly, this movie is sure to take you on a fun ride this festive season. Prakambanam will have its world TV premiere on Wednesday, April 15, at 12 PM.Along with Malayalam hits, Surya’s blockbuster Retro will also have its Malayalam TV premiere on Vishu. The movie starring Surya, Pooja Hedge, Joju George, and Jayaram can be watched at 6.30 on the Vishu evening.Along with the premieres, movie lovers can also watch hit movies like Mohanlal’s ‘Hridayapoorvam,’ Prithviraj and Basil’s comedy movie ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,’ ‘Bromance,’ Premalu, and more on Vishu day on their TV screens.
