Patna: The state govt on Wednesday said it has reached a mutual consensus on several issues after talks with representatives of panchayat secretaries, according to Panchayati Raj department director Naveen Kumar Singh.Singh said, “The secretaries are currently on strike over a five-point charter of demands. Discussions on transfers and postings will continue after consultations with the Panchayat Secretaries’ Association.” He stressed that the secretaries are a crucial part of rural administration and the panchayat governance system.The department is maintaining continuous dialogue to address their concerns and grievances.
