Instead, he allegedly checked into Room 208 of Sagarika Hotel, a government-run facility, to conduct “private, unscheduled, and unrecorded” talks, TMC said. Alleging that the “BJPEC nexus” was now documented, it demanded the observer’s immediate removal.BJP rejected the charges, claiming the meeting was held to raise concerns that TMC workers were obstructing their campaign.
