Creativity, science take center stage at International School's innovation expo

Patna: International School organized its annual arts and science exhibition, “Eye on Innovation 2026,” transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of creativity, scientific thinking and artistic expression. Students from Nursery to Class X showcased a wide range of models, projects, charts, crafts and thematic presentations, with more than 120 teams participating.Key exhibits included working models on the life cycle of butterflies and frogs, rainwater harvesting, metro city concepts, global flight mapping, an e-commerce website, a maths park, and themes from history, geography and literature.The exhibition was inaugurated by Justice Samrendra Pratap Singh (Retd), former judge of Patna high court, and Dr AA Hai, a surgeon. A panel of academicians from Patna University and other institutions evaluated the exhibits.School director Farhat Hasan said the event celebrated curiosity and creativity, adding that such platforms encourage students to go beyond textbooks and develop as future innovators.Mother’s Day: Gyan Niketan Girls’ School organized a Mother’s Day celebration blending technology, creativity and emotion. Class VIII students presented a mock election using self-made electronic voting machines (EVMs), developed under the guidance of AI and robotics teachers.Students also staged cultural performances, while antakshari and games were organized for mothers, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.School administrator Anita Kunal congratulated the team for the successful event. Principal Bincy Mathew, vice-principal Sonia Arora and several mothers were present.Gyanodya Gurukul also celebrated Mother’s Day with enthusiasm. Students expressed gratitude through cultural programs, while mother-child games and a card-making competition saw active participation.Director Vikas Kumar and secretary Abhilasha said mothers play a crucial role in a child’s development. The event concluded with mothers being honored with mementoes.
