Confirming that the change is tied to her upcoming work, she says, “I’ve started working on something new, a thriller, and this look is for that project. I had been wanting to experiment for a while, and this felt like the right time. It’s always exciting to step into something new, and this is a small part of that journey.“The change has clearly worked in her favour. She adds, “I’m absolutely loving it because I have never seen myself like this before. I feel fresh and edgy. I love how it brings out a different side to my personality. Honestly, everyone, including my fans, is loving it. I hadn’t quite expected such a positive reaction.”Nimrit, who became a household name as Meher in Chhoti Sarrdaarni, is set to make her OTT debut with Ab Hoga Hisaab. For the actress, returning to a long-format narrative has been both nostalgic and creatively fulfilling. In a chat with us, she had previously shared, “After working on films, returning to a space where the story unfolds over time brings a different kind of excitement. Long-format shows give you the time to truly sit with your character, understand its layers, and grow with it. You are not rushing from one emotional beat to another; you get to process things more deeply, both for yourself and the story. Being back on set reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling. It is demanding, but also incredibly rewarding.”
