NEW DELHI: As National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE (Main) 2026 result on Monday, marking a significant moment for lakhs of aspirants across the country, three names from Delhi left a mark with a score of 100 percentile. The three are Shreyas Mishra, Aditya Gupta and Atharva Panjabi, each with a story rooted in steady effort and strong support systems.Behind one of these names is a journey shaped not by complexity, but by consistency. For Mishra, a student of Kulachi Hansraj Model School in Ashok Vihar, the result may appear effortless, a flawless score that seems almost simple from the outside. But his preparation tells a different story, one grounded in sincerity and trust. “It took a lot, more than most people can see. A lot of energy, a lot of sacrifices were made in order to achieve such a milestone,” he said. “The preparation was not very complex. I just followed the instructions of my teachers sincerely and my parents played a huge role in guiding me.”There were no claims of extreme routines or unrealistic study schedules. “My study hours weren’t regular on a daily basis, but I tried to keep it above six hours every day.”This steady rhythm allowed him to stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Outside academics, his world remained refreshingly simple. “Mainly, I listen to music or I read books,” he said. His academic interests naturally align with structured thinking. “Maths and chemistry are my favourites,” Mishra said.Despite achieving one of the highest milestones at the age of 17, his future plans remain open. His father, Sumant Mishra, played a crucial role in shaping his curiosity early on. “I used to engage him in conversations by observing things around us … like the Ashoka Pillar near Qutub Minar, explaining why it hasn’t rusted for hundreds of years.”Recognizing his aptitude, he introduced his son to speed mathematics and abacus competitions, helping him build confidence and sharpen his numerical abilities. In the end, his journey, like that of Gupta and Panjabi, is not just about achieving perfection, but about showing up every day, staying grounded and moving forward step by step.
