While US President Donald Trump may have denied any links to late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, many still believe that his associations were eradicated rather than non-existent. Thus, an American transparency advocacy group, Institute for Primary Facts, has opened up a temporary exhibition in New York with all the files released by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).There are roughly 3.5 million pages related to the financier and sex criminal in the library dubbed ‘The Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room’. The files have been released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) in 3,437 volumes, numbered and organized on shelves.
“The truth is hard to deny when it’s printed and bound for you to see,” reads the website of the Washington-based non-profit. Those interested in seeing the files at the Tribeca library can do so by registering online.
Trump-Epstein friendship
The pop-up also has a display about the longstanding association between President Trump and Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving minors. The two had been friends for decades before falling out in 2004 over a property deal, after which Trump allegedly denounced Epstein.
Netizens celebrate the library
For years, citizens of USA had rallied offline and online for the Epstein files to be released. As assumed before and proven now, it was believed to have the names of some of the most successful people in the world, embroiled in scandalous activities. Thus, the creation of the library for the dedicated purpose of making information accessible to the public has been appreciated by many online. “This shouldn’t just stay in NYC. Take it on the road,” wrote a user on“Just put it in the ballroom. If we ever get the truth the square footage will be needed,” added another.“Can this concept be taken to broadway?” asked another.“Trump will eventually go to jail. There is overwhelming evidence, personal testimonies, photographs, videos. He is being protected by other, equally powerful and equally guilty men. He has destroyed America. He needs to be put away where he can do no more harm,” suggested one.“Brilliant! I remember seeing, I think it was called The Freedom Train, when I was a kid. It was like a rolling museum that toured the country celebrating the bicentennial. They should absolutely do this,” another recommended.
