‘Peddi’ trailer launch event details

According to a report by Variety India, the trailer launch is set to take place on May 16, 2026, in Bhopal. The reports further suggest that key members from the film’s team, including Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, director Buchi Babu Sana, producer Venkata Satish Kilaru and filmmaker Sukumar will be part of the event. In addition to it, AR Rahman, who has composed the music for ‘Peddi’ will perform live during the grand event.

About ‘Peddi’

‘Peddi’ is set to be a village-based sports action drama where Ram Charan will be seen playing primarily two sports, cricket and wrestling. In the teaser released earlier and the song ‘Chikri Chikri’, the ‘RRR’ star can be seen holding a bat and also taking a batting stance in the song. Meanwhile, on his recent birthday, the makers dropped the ‘Peddi Pehelwan’ clip, where a ripped Ram Charan with big muscles is seen flexing, practicing and in a wrestling ring.

The film also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani in important roles. The movie is also reported to feature a special song with Shruti Haasan dancing side by side with Ram Charan.The makers confirmed that ‘Peddi’ will release worldwide on June 4, 2026, while premieres are planned for June 3. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
