Samay Raina, who has been winning hearts since his new YouTube video Still Aliveappeared in a recent podcast where he opened up about his personal and professional life. What caught many eyeballs was how he took a dig at comedian Sunil Pal. In a podcast with @dostcast, he shared how people need to evolve in order to grow. He then mentioned how Sunil Pal “stayed in the same time,” but comedians shouldn’t do that.Samay recalled how once someone told him that he is responsible for influencing the young generation. He then said people need to evolve with time. Samay shared, “We fully impact society, and at the same time, we say how clean it was earlier. If it had really been so clean before, then where are all these dirty things coming from? If everything was clean earlier, then it clearly wasn’t we should have reached Satya Yug again. We have changed because people say we change. We speak the way we want to because you cannot stop the process of time. When something goes on for too long, people get bored. That’s why they want to do something different.”He further said, “That’s the reason we moved from the sea to the land that’s how we became amphibians. Being in water became boring, so we wanted to come out. Then amphibians got bored, and then came flying life in the air. From there, mammals evolved. That’s the whole process. It’s in our DNA. It’s divine. You cannot stop evolution.”While talking about Sunil Pal, he said, “Earlier, everyone spoke in one way. That became boring. Now everyone speaks like this. We talk like this. Now we do things this way. Maybe in 15–20 years, people will get bored of this too. Then they’ll say this language isn’t right, that isn’t right, and it will shift again. And then we will wonder why this is happening. You cannot hold on to time. Time changes. Time spares no one. You have to evolve with time. How many artists and comedians are there, like Sunil Pal, who stayed stuck in their time, thinking ‘this is it’? But time spares no one. You can be the most talented person, the most gifted person, but if you don’t respect and grow with time, you will become irrelevant.”
