Speaking during the trailer launch, he said audiences should not watch the film expecting only shocking twists and surprise moments.According to the filmmaker, the emotional journey of the protagonist forms the heart of the story.“In the third part of Drishyam, the focus is on Georgekutty’s fear and emotions. This time, Georgekutty does not know whether someone is following him, and if so, who that person is. In the first two parts, Georgekutty had some idea about what he was facing. Here, he is searching in the dark. That is the most dangerous situation. I am not saying there are no surprise elements, but Drishyam 3 is not only about that. So, please do not come to the film expecting surprises beyond a certain point, or you may be disappointed,” said Jeethu Joseph.The newly released trailer hints at a different tone from the earlier films.
